Dang Wayne! Ever since he brought up the fact that asparagus makes your pee smell, I notice it. I guess it’s a widely known phenomenon since this site offers merchandise with the motto “Asparagus Makes Your Pee Smell Awesome!”
I almost knocked myself out after having the asparagus appetizer at Morton’s Steak House.

by Gee Why on August 15, 2005

in Uncategorized

After coming home one night, we look across the way and see our neighbor doing some ironing wearing nothing but a thong. Not the slippers kind of thong, but the full on, cheek-splitting kind. There’s something you don’t see everyday.

Bye Bye Midnight Ohana

by Gee Why on August 15, 2005

in Uncategorized

So long UH basketball Midnight Ohana. Due to a new NCAA regulation, teams can now “start practice at 7 p.m. on the first Friday before Oct. 15″ Instead of having the first practice at midnight, teams can begin at a more respectable hour-not a bad proposition for the aging UH fan base. [...]

Journey’s classic tune Don’t Stop Believin‘ is in the number 8 spot on the iTunes Music Store Top Songs. What’s up with that? It’s a great song, but an anachronism no? (How’s that use of an SAT word? Props to Charlie Proctor!)
Okay, I just did a Google search, and Metafilter has [...]

by Gee Why on August 11, 2005

in Pulp

It was recently pointed out that the model used in Club 939’s newspaper advertisements is not your typical local girl. If the club is now under local management, why isn’t a “local” model pictured in the ad?
Anyone want to be the local face of 939? Call 808-952-9300 to apply. Alli? Shannon?

Walt Mossberg reviews Apple’s new “no” button mouse in his Technology column. Walt tells it like it is and I usually agree with his comments. Of course, none of his reviews would be complete without mentioning his assistant, Katie. I swear, finding her name in Walt’s columns is like a game of [...]

Actually shopped at Neiman Marcus in Ala Moana and picked up a Together Tunes toy for Merynn. It’s a big cube that plays music every time you turn it to a different side. Give it a smack and more music plays.
