Did you catch the season premiere of Saturday Night Live? Steve Carell, the 40-year old virgin, hosted with musical guest Kanye West.
Little Merynn was fussy from her 4-month vaccination shots and didn’t want to go to sleep so I was up a little later than normal. Caught the beginning of SNL and saw Kanye do a mini-skit with Mike Myers then perform Gold Digger and Touch the Sky. I dozed off while my wonderful wife took over Merynn-watching duties, but when I did get up, Kanye was performing Heard ‘Em Say. I loved the orchestral accompaniment on both performances.
Maybe Shaun and I would have kept up with the viola (first stand, baby!) if we had a more modern music selection. I mean, how many times can you play Rondeau?
