She finished in a 5-way tie for 3rd place in the Listmania of Hottest Local Newscasters. With her departure, KHNL now has the most friendliest faces on local television.

Went to Ala Moana yesterday and saw some of the changes Wayne’s World talked about. The renovations are looking good. The 4th floor dining section, Ho’okipa Terrace, is done, but all the new restaurants aren’t. Only Romano’s Macaroni Grill is close to opening (November 7 in fact).

Bye Bye, Vanilla Coke

Coca-Cola is getting rid of Vanilla Coke, Vanilla Diet Coke, and Diet Coke with Lemon at the end of 2005. In its place, Coke will introduce Black Cherry Vanilla and Diet Black Cherry Vanilla. Diet Coke with Lime has pretty much overshadowed Diet Coke with Lemon anyways.
