Be Productive and Happy at Work

Although geared towards software developers, some interesting tips on being productive at work. Tips include:

  • Quit reading email and blogs.
  • Work on open source late at night with a beer on your desk.
  • Avoid meetings at all costs.
  • Work on something you’re passionate about.

Also, some job and career advice like:

  • If you’re not happy at work, quit.
  • Don’t work at a company with a two-week vacation policy.
  • Don’t travel if you have kids.
  • Ask for more responsibility.
  • Most things can be learned by reading.

what a mantra…
Don’t worry be happy. Bring back the 60’s/70’s. The era of care-free something and constant war protests.. Hey hold on a second….. We must be in the 60’s/70’s era. Got protests and care free employees…. It has to be…. Must be stuck in a time warp….
