‘Lost’ in Hawaii Kai
“Hey! That’s Sawyer!” Yes, it was Josh Holloway from the TV hit, Lost, in a Hawaii Kai parking lot. Last we saw him, he was filming in Mililani. Sunday night, he’s shopping in Hawaii Kai.
Here’s the story. The rains came back to the Windward side and despite hot Ben Gutierrez’s weather report telling people to protect your life and your property, we decided to go out for a family dinner in Hawaii Kai. While in the parking lot, we see this dude, and my wife says “Hey! That’s Sawyer!” He stopped, gladly took pictures with us, and went on his way. Cool guy.

Cool. So how did you approach him? Just went up and said “Can we take a picture?”

Good thing we remembered his real name. Would have been rude asking Sawyer for a picture. My wife just asked Mr. Holloway if we could take a picture and he said why sure, or something like that.
He apologized for a smell or something about touching something stinky while shopping.
He said what a cute baby and we took our pictures then he finished loading up his groceries.
I shoulda asked him to join us for dinner. 😉

In LA I saw quite a bit of stars, but was too scared to approach them. Plus didn’t have digital cameras that we carry around all the time either.

Yeah, getting an autograph is kinda boring compared to showing pictures. Good thing for digital cameras!
