More rumors about what Apple will announce during its September 12 Special Event are circulating the Net. A movie download service is still the front runner, but Think Secret is predicting the announcement of the second-generation iPod Nano, an updated iPod, and an updated iMac.
The next revision of the Nano will supposedly be available in a metal finish with several color options (like the Mini back in its day) and have higher storage capacities. The updated iPod will be just like the existing iPods with a few new features. This won’t be THE video iPod (which is hopefully expected at Christmas time this year).
Lastly, the iMac may be updated with the speedy Core 2 Duo processors and offered in a 23-inch model.
I wonder if the current Nanos will be discounted for a quick sale? I’m still interested in the Nike+ and iPod sports gear.
