The Round Mound of Rebound is my 2nd favorite NBA player of all time. My favorite is Dr. J. My 3rd favorite is Allen Iverson.

Hmm…can you tell what my favorite team in the NBA is? ^^

And Chuck’s autobiography was a great read too, by the way.

Watching that video also reminded me…remember an old NBA highlight tape called NBA Superstars? They compiled all of these highlights and set them to pop songs that matched their personas.

Larry Bird had John Mellencamp’s “Small Town”, Michael Jordan had Berlin’s “Take My Breath Away”, and Charles had Scandal’s “The Warrior”. A perfect fit!

That tape was da bomb, yo!

Don’t know about rating AI over MJ. Often I wondered who “accomplished” more MJ or Barkley. MJ was the man but he was a big for a guard. Barkley was undersized as a power forward then moving to small forward over the years. So he’d have to go up against bigger dudes then faster guys at small forward. Yet, he still influenced and dominated!

Ha! I think I just got rid of that tape. Seriously! After the home construction and moving stuff around, I came across this tape along with a few other NBA and And1 tapes.

I think the NBA Superstars had the orange/yellow tape jacket? I had a tape with a blue jacket too. Donated them to the local library.

The stuff Bird did on the tape was dope for a white boy!

Was this the tape that had Isiah Thomas throwing down a put back over taller dudes (Parrish of the Celtics?)?
