Can’t wait for the new season of the UH Men’s basketball team. New coach, new system, some new players, and some old time favorites.
The Twilight Ohana gave the fans a first look at the men’s and women’s squads and the stats line for the scrimmage was interesting. Riley Luettgerodt leading the way with 17 points?! Will this be his breakout year?
Yao-hopeful Ji Xiang got one point and one board and is described by Head Coach Bob Nash as being “more athletic than one might think.” Hmmm…
Season starts on Friday, November 9 against the San Diego Torreros of the West Coast Conference. Here’s the rest of the schedule.

I’m interested to see the ‘new’ of it all too.
But please don’t tell me those shorts are included in the ‘new’ ’cause that’s something I definitely don’t want to see more of. At least not in basketball.
I think the shorts was to match their return to basic training theme.
Got to see if can get tickets during the season…
Well I guess we won’t be seeing his so-called athleticism.
