Don’t look now, but the ABC hit, Dancing with the Stars, has a small kine local competitor with “Dancing with the Celebrities.” Local celebrities and the Hawaii Ballroom Dancing Association are teaming up for a dancing event featuring some familiar names like:
- Tannya Joaquin
- Stephanie Lum
- Justin Cruz
- Olena Rubin
- Liz Chun
- Steve Uyehara
On Saturday, May 2, 2009, you can see these stars (and dancing neophytes) at the Ala Wai Palladium for $20. Tannya Joaquin will be dancing a rumba. Wonder how it’ll compare to this rumba of Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas?
