    So they get you to spend $3 or so every day for 12 days for a chance to win 1/7th of what you spend?

    Perhaps it makes sense if you’re already stopping there, but I generally don’t do SBUX unless I’m being held hostage at an airport (I’m the one blinking in morse code).

    We were in Grand Central Station a few months back. I went on a morning run for coffee and found a line out the door at SBUX. Went around the corner and got a great cup of coffee at a local joint with no waiting….

      But if you live that lifestyle anyways then it’s a bonus. My challenge is to figure out how to maximize my points yet not spending a whole lot. A simple coffee will cut costs and I believe charging up your Rewards Card gives you a star as well.
