Just had another run in with Jorge Garcia from LOST. I was just sitting in the car with napping kids when I see him going into his car parked right in front of ours. With the kids sleeping, all I could do was wave hello, and “Uncle Hurley” (as the kids call him) waved back.

On Wednesday, there was a strange occurrence in the neighborhood as a film production crew settled in and marked off stretches of roadway.

Duff and the creative cast of Charm City Cakes are in Hawaii filming for their Food Network hit, Ace of Cakes. Through clandestine means, I learned about the filming at Tropics Community Activity Center on Schofield Barracks and being a fan, headed there to find a mass of cake fanatics.

LOST actor Jorge Garcia is a fun guy. Check out his latest dispatch about snacks available on the set of LOST. We’re talking Pop Tarts Go Tarts and the endless varieties of Oreos including the Oreo Cakester.
And somehow he sneaks in a message advocating safe sex!

Or how I missed getting a picture of Jorge Garcia who plays Hurley on LOST. On an atypical grocery shopping trip, lo and behold there’s none other than Hurley at our nearby non-lifestyled Safeway. He was shopping around the deli section and looked just like he does on the show.
