So far, moving Pulpconnection from Blogger to WordPress has been painful with regards to site visits. Here’s stats from Sitemeter showing the change from December 10, 2008 to January 9, 2009. I started making changes on December 23. Starting in 2009, things really went downhill. Hopefully, this WordPress migration starts paying off soon.
Just another test to see if things are actually working. The move is going to mess up Pulpconnection’s Google rank… temporarily I hope.

Blogger’s recent problem with non-updating comment feeds is still there, but there’s a small hack that is better than nothing. This ‘?start-index=2′ hack also works for modified comment feeds from Hackosphere and Beautiful Beta.
Something weird happened to some RSS feeds for comments on Blogger blogs. Old comments are now stuck as the most recent comments. Blogger knows about it but hasn’t been able to resolve the problem yet. Until then, the “Recently Said” sidebar section will continue to show old comments and not the latest. Sorry. The move to the new Blogger Beta is on. What happens now? You need a Google account to make the move. Ecto is not working right. May need to reauthenticate to the new Blogger Beta system. And also need to download a newer version that understands Blogger Beta. Get the patched 2.4.1 version. Hmmm, labels [...]
