I think I had my Nike earphones for about a year before they broke. They were cheap so I got value out of one year.

I don’t expect great sound but don’t really need it while running. Just need tunes to help me forget about the pain.

My 2 cents.]]> Hear is what I like about the Sony earphones: they normally come with an extension, so what I do is take off the extension and just use the ear buds with the SHORT cord. As soon as someone makes a water resistant case for the new shuffle, I’d like to get one and clip the shuffle to my cap, and use with the short Sony cord. Also, my headphones have been aggressively by the elements for a year and they still work. Sound is OK. My 2 cents.
