For some reason, and not just cuz I’m Korean, the Jin and Sun episodes are usually well done and well written. They are the only real couple on the show (outside of Sawyer and slutty Kate’s escapades) and it’s touching to see their little romantic back stories.

Someone I know auditioned for the part of Jin’s mom but didn’t get it but she ended up playing Sun’s mom in the graduation photo. That actress who played Jin’s mom was terrible though. Bleah!

The no survivors angle? That seems to be pushing the purgatory theory, but I think it’s another way of throwing us off.

I also agree that they should limit the number of eps. That’s one draw of K-dramas. They have a pre-determined # of eps for each show so they have a thought out beginning, middle, and end.
