Takes about 45 minutes to download and another 30 minutes to actually install. Â My install went smoothly but Lion made some changes that affect me at work (no Samba for Windows file share for example).

Me too. Â I have mixed feelings about this Lion feature. Â Can't decide if I like it or not. Â Probably like on my home computer but dislike on my work computer.

Try it. Â It's kinda cool to see all your stuff restored in front of you. Â But then again, you might be instantly reminded of how much work you still have to do. ;)

Interesting. As I read the first paragraph of your post I was like, "there's no option to turn off resume or something like that?" But then you answered that afterward.

I can understand why that would be helpful (and also your point of view as well). As for myself, I actually close down all my apps and save everything before I shut down (a habit from high school computing).

Maybe I should live dangerously and just leave everything open when I shut down?
