Thanks so much for the info! Greatly needed to figure things out. Seems like I'll have to preorder my phone since I can't make it early enough on release day.

Hey Gee Why!
To answer your questions:
#1 - The switch for 4G LTE coverage in Hawaii is going to flip sometime in late October to early November and I have to admit that it's pretty awesome. The past couple of times I went to Vegas (which is an LTE market already) with an LTE device, the speed difference between 3G/"4G" and true 4G LTE is almost night and day. The only drawback that I could see is that it does eat up battery power faster.
#2 - Nope. The current plans will work with iPhone 5 at no extra cost.
#3 - Yup, you can keep that valuable unlimited plan that you have without having to switch it.
#4 - Not exactly sure about this one. Do you have a regular billing plan with a GoPhone SIM on the 3GS? Or a GoPhone SIM with a prepaid plan on the 3GS? Either way, I'm pretty sure you should be able to swap it out to a iPhone 4 micro SIM at no extra charge.
#5 - This one's purely up to you. =)
Hope this helps!
