I very much doubt it, but there are rumors swirling that Taylor Swift is Elly Conway, author of the new book Argylle. Argylle the movie is set to release in February, starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Henry Cavill, and Samuel L. Jackson.

There’s just not enough time in the day to perform, tour, and write books.

So far, my favorite travel guides are Lonely Planet Japan and Fodor’s Tokyo. Mainly, I like the layout of the information contained within these books.

The acquiring of reading materials followed by letting them pile up and subsequently never reading them.

Yes, I have a collection of books that maybe, just maybe, I cracked the spine on. Otherwise, they are in pristine condition (just a little dusty). I intended to read and learn from these books, but history has taught me otherwise, and now I acknowledge that I won’t read them.

I have gotten better over the years with the stagnant books acting as a reminder of this wasteful habit. Okay, okay, I did have a relapse buying (and not reading) that Sports Illustrated issue on Kobe Bryant’s career.

So while I suffer from tsundoku, I acknowledge it and vow to stay away from Amazon Prime Reading.

I gotta admit that even with the resources of the Internet, this magazine has an excellent collection of all things WordPress.

Coloring books for adults is trendy right now. Check out the (growing) collection available.

Even Candy Crush has a themed coloring book.

Now where was this all this time? A comic book that you can color in.

But Barnes and Noble has more than books. Their toy section has interesting items like these Pop characters. My favorite from Big Hero 6 is Fred in his old school Japanese bad guy costume.

The Predator in Pop form is still freaky looking.

I gotta make sure to visit more often. All kinds of interesting goodies to see!

Never thought of LEGO as something beyond a toy for creativity, so I’m kinda interested to see what books about LEGO are about. Although a little dated, The Unofficial LEGO Builder’s Guide had solid reviews and covers a variety of topics including how to store LEGO bricks.

I’m looking at The LEGO Book mainly for the pictures of LEGO throughout the years.

Finished reading, okay listening to, Seth Godin’s latest, Poke the Box. I prefer listening to Seth’s books as opposed to reading them. While I enjoy his writings, hearing Seth narrate his words with his inflections and idiosyncrasies is more compelling to me.

Poke the Box is all over the place, but the simple message is to start. Nothing will get done if you don’t start, but not only start, but finish aka “ship the product.” Somewhere in this book you’re bound to recognize a situation you’ve been in or are in and see how it all relates. I’m definitely going to replay this audiobook and let the words soak in.
