<p>So it&#8217;s been years since you <a href="https://www.pulpconnection.net/2005/07/home-gym/">bought your Bowflex</a> adjustable weights, but you didn&#8217;t get the pricey stands for these weights.  Sure the cardboard box the weights came in were a decent makeshift stand.  They&#8217;re strong enough and heck, they are &#8220;free.&#8221;</p>
<p>But the boxes are short, making you forget about proper form when getting the weights, and your back is now suffering.  They are simple rectangular shapes without any toe clearance, and you&#8217;ve kicked the box enough times to wear away the cardboard base, making the box unsteady.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t be a cheapskate, straining your back to save a few bucks.  Just buy the stands already.</p>
