It was a banner year for trick-or-treating in the Kailua area. We had 25 kids come by the house! Though about half of the tricksters were either in high school or maybe even college.
Didn’t see any great costumes. Maybe the best was a Fred and Wilma Flintstone.
Doing a quick search for pickleball courts on Oahu, I came across the resources of the Oahu Pickleball Association. Although generated a few years back, their compilation of outdoor, public pickleball courts on the island is probably mostly accurate. The list is also available in a Google Maps format so you can visually see the […]
While still early in learning the game, I’m fortunate to have a variety of paddles to play with. I noticed something the other day while using a CRBN 1X – my arm felt dead towards the end of the session.Early on, the CRBN 1X was fun to play with. Hitting drives felt effortless and the […]

25 kids? Wow that is like 15 minutes in Mililani. Should have seen the traffic going into Mililani Mauka, was unreal. The freeway offramp was backed up to the bridge. Meheula was backed up from the fire station all the way to Ruby Tuesday.

WOW CCTWT how long does that bottle of Tabasco last? Was it part of the candy give aways…… I would have lined up to get “sauced up.”

Yeah, we went to Mililani for trick or treating the past two years, and it’s crazy! Kids everywhere!
Due to our surge in kids, we were short on candy so we gave out packets of hot chocolate mix. That was actually a hit with the kids. Cheaper than candy too.
Should have given out those little bottles of Tabasco. Who am I kidding? You can’t tap into your stockpile.

That’s the gallon size. That would take about 2.5 years for me to use up.
That’s right Gee Why, I would never give out my little bottles of tabasco to the children. With the hurricane and all, who knows if there will be a shortage in three years. Gotta be smart with the stash.

120 in 1hr40min was a slow night in Mauka, counting Nikki and Taylor. Ran out in 20 mins last year. Some of the older costumes weren’t suitable for the little kids, though…
