Finished Reading "The Apple Way"

Just finished reading The Apple Way, 12 Management Lessons from the World’s Most Innovative Company. A pretty good book about the management lessons Apple learned or should have learned in the past 20 years. The book also provided some insider views as the company rose in the 80’s then fell in the 90’s then rose again under the second watch of Steve Jobs.

Also learned that many of the so-called failed Apple CEOs actually were decent at specific things and did use their strengths to fix particular flaws with the Apple organization. But, many of them could not infuse the cool factor back into Apple or its products like Steve Jobs has been able to.

Innovation and being cool is hard, hard work.

Book info at Amazon.
