Strategies for Jun Ken Po?!
Who would have thought that there are winning strategies for Jun Ken Po aka Rock Paper Scissors?
I have to admit that Mr. 939 is a pretty good Jun Ken Po-er! He’s won a contest or two at our family Christmas party. He likes to psych out his opponents and play mind tricks on them.

my secret winning technique is this: as soon as the other person starts saying “jan… ken…”, you quickly shout out, “jankenpo” and throw paper while the other person still has his hand in a fist (rock). winner winner, chicken dinner!

I use a slightly different but similar tactic. As we both raise our fists to start saying “jun ken po,” I yell out “Po!” and immediately make paper.
