It’s All About Priorities
And giving people what they want. Found this post on Mashable leading up to Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy. Seems like there were three closures people wanted to be informed of:
- Subways
- Schools
- Starbucks
Yep, the availability of Starbucks was on the mind of people leading up to Sandy’s landfall. While all Starbucks in New York City and Long Island were supposed to stay closed through Monday, one location opened and attracted a throng of caffeine addicts.
It’s all about priorities…
Closed Due to Sickness
Went to check out a new eatery, Esther House, in Kailua. But when I got there, they were closed.
Get a closer look at the sign. I hate it when the “cooker is sick.”
Passing by a week later, they were still closed so maybe the “cooker” is actually cooking equipment that’s busted and not a sick cook. And yes, this location is that of the former What the Pho.
Is That a Red Cookie Monster?
Sadly, kids nowadays don’t recognize the costume on the right. No, it’s not Elmo or a red Cookie Monster. Do you remember this Sesame Street character?
