Closing of Star Market Kahala
Happened to be at Kahala Mall when long-time tenant Star Market was closing its doors. Everything was more or less wiped out already. I found a rare four pack of discontinued Royal Mills Cafe Coconut iced coffee, but the expiration date was 2005.

Expiration date of 2005?! It’s no wonder why they are going out of business. Who knows what else is expired…Those cake mixes look a little tattered and torn.
Think that last written note is actually from a loyal, long-time customer. Sniff-sniff.
