Net Wins
To close things out, my Net Woes have turned into Net Wins! Yeah, so my SwiftNet pull cord started slipping one day, and I contacted the company for support. On the next day, Rich, the customer care manager, reached out for more details and asked for pictures of certain parts.
After a few email exchanges (some even during the night), Rich diagnosed the problem and sent out spare parts to fix my current issue and also another post cap assembly if this problem were to happen on the other post.
I received all the parts (for free), made the replacements, and within a week, my SwiftNet was back in action! And I have spare parts in waiting.
Rich’s customer support was outstanding and very quick. His questions and analysis were on point, leading us to the correct resolution the first time. This pickleball net is already great, and the customer service further cements that reputation!
It’s YOUR Insoles
It’s your insoles and definitely not mine since I’ve been a fan and user of Move insoles for several years. My casual kicks are lined with the All Days, especially while traveling. Even snug sneakers are worth replacing the included insoles with the Baselines.
On the pickleball court, you must be playing with the Game Day or even Game Day Pros inside your shoes. The Pros are too stiff for my liking whereas the Game Day is a good balance between stiff and plush, providing the right amount of support.
No matter what, change out your insoles, and you will notice a big difference.

Net Woes
I’m currently working with the excellent customer service team of SwiftNet to figure out what’s wrong with my SwiftNet. After putting up the net and pulling the cords tight, the cord on one side slowly slides loose. The cords aren’t frayed or anything, but it looks like the internal locking mechanism isn’t grabbing/holding on.
Hoping to hear about a fix soon.
I’ve been playing Doobie Scoot Canoe for my SwiftNet, hoping to raise its spirits. So far, no improvement.

I currently main the elongated and recently picked up a widebody. I may have to switch. The balance and maneuverability of the widebody is way better than the elongated. Sure, the reach is shorter but flicking with the widebody feels way more natural.
I think I need to compare both to a hybrid shape… all blacked out of course!

The strength of HTP is really breaking down techniques and explaining them in unorthodox (but sensical) ways.

Upcoming from Enhance Pickleball
Yes, paddle lust is real, and no, I don’t need another pickleball paddle… but both you and I know that another paddle (or two) is in sight.
While I wouldn’t mind trying out Friday’s well received Aura and Aura Pro line, there are some interesting developments coming shortly from Enhance Pickleball. Yes, the same Enhance that makes the Turbo lineup that’s been growing in my play group. At $99 after code KAILUAPB, it’s hard to beat the price and performance value of any of the Turbos – MPP, EPP, wide, hybrid, and elongated.
I am reluctant to say that the Turbo MPP wide body is my new main after using the elongated version all this time. But after a few play sessions, the maneuverability and dexterity of this paddle can definitely be felt.
To keep pace with the meta of 2026 of durable grit, Enhance is about to revise the Turbo MPP line with ArmorGrit, its durable surface. Projected to remain at $99, the Turbo with a longer lasting surface is a no brainer… unless there was an exclusive color way of the current Turbos.
Back to paddle lust, a blacked out Enhance Turbo might be the next purchase. Even with no ArmorGrit, this limited edition version would be a fun one to customize.
Paddle Lust Is Real
With the sheer volume of pickleball paddles coming to market month after month, lusting for the newest paddle is a definite dilemma.
The latest paddle eye candy would definitely be this Friday Aura Pro in the Miami Vice colors. That blue and flamingo pink combination feels so right, but even with the bonus extras, that $189 price tag makes me pause (because I really don’t need another paddle).
The Pop N Treasure Is Solid
I had my first play session with the new Pop N Treasure from Pickle Poppers, and it was a seamless transition. I had started the day with my regripped Gherkin Draco but then switched it up after a few games.
There was no real adjustment period. Sure, the sound and feel of the paddle hits were different but not jarring. Everything felt comfortable with this elongated paddle, but then again, it does share the same shape as some of my other paddles. Pop and power were there but not more than other paddles. The look and design, of course, are eye catching with other players admiring the fun artwork.
This paddle design was upgraded with its Evergrit durable surface, so I’ll have to pay attention to how it holds up. I didn’t notice or didn’t try to really spin my shots since that’s not my game.
Overall, the Pop N Treasure is a solid paddle for sure. It’s comfortable without any glaring shortcomings and with enough pop and power. This gen 4 foam core paddle is a definite upgrade from my Pop N Frost gen 3 paddle (now discontinued). The hitch is the price tag of $179.99. Does this paddle at this price point outpace other paddles? That’s really difficult to say when paddles like the $99 Enhance Turbo lineup are now available. However, I admit that as an early buyer of the Pop N Frost, I was eligible to buy the Pop N Treasure at a significant discount. So at a reduced price point, the paddle is most definitely worth it.
