International Delight Getting Back in the Game?
The main two players in the flavored coffee cream arena are Coffee-mate and International Delight. I’m a fan of Coffee-mate and have written about their fruity chocolatey goodness and their new additions of Vanilla Chai Spice and Coconut Creme. To me, the Coffee-mate creamers taste better and have more appealing names and flavors, and therefore rule the coffee cream scene.
On a recent trip to the grocery store, I noticed that International Delight was getting back in the game with their holiday flavors and limited edition creams. The holiday flavors include chocolate mint truffle and almond toffee, but the more appealing aspect is their cool bottle designs. Check these out.

A fun match for the holiday season!
The bottles for the limited edition caramel praline and pumpkin pie spice look better as well. Sad to say though that I still prefer the taste of Coffee-mate creams. The chocolate mint truffle sounds great but I prefer Coffee-mate’s peppermint mocha. Sorry International Delight, keep trying!

Small Kine Disappointed with Kim Coco Iwamoto
While watching the morning KHON2 news, there was a piece on the new members of the Oahu Board of Education. In it, there’s video footage of Kim Coco Iwamoto declining an interview and appearing to run away from the cameras (hey, the “new” KHON2 web site actually has this video available).
What’s up with that? I’m a little disappointed that she didn’t say something, even to take the opportunity to thank her supporters or to express her appreciation for new position. Maybe the video editing only tells part of the truth, and Manolo Morales, who was the on-scene reporter, did report that Kim Coco said “she’ll be around for the next four years, and she’ll respond to media questions at a later time.”
For a visible story like this, I would think being open and upfront is better than remaining silent and letting the public come to its own conclusions. What’s the general rule of communicating again? You’re better off communicating too much than too little.
Kim Coco Iwamoto is a Hot Topic
The topic of Kim Coco Iwamoto is hot right now, at least for Pulpconnection. Who would have thought that a transgender running for a seat on the Oahu Board of Education would be the most looked at news on this site?
Here are stats provided by Google Analytics.

Two Bald Heads and a Pair of Dimples
The semifinals of Dancing with the Stars showed extremely competitive dancing. All three dance pairs scored 59 out of a possible 60 points. So who would be eliminated? One of the baldies, Joey Lawrence or Emmitt Smith, or the pair of dimples, Mario Lopez?
Unfortunately, Joey Lawrence’s time was up. Though the judges liked his overall improvement, the fans’ votes didn’t carry Joey into the finals. So one baldy and a pair of dimples will be dancing next week for the title of Dancing with the Stars Champion.
Again, I’m rooting for Emmitt since he has that persona. I can’t explain it, but Michael Jordan has it, and Emmitt’s got it. Just something about him that makes him likable.

Britney and Kevin: Marriage Chaotic
No sooner than having two kids, it is over. The chaotic relationship and marriage between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline is done. Kaput. Pau.
The pair married in 2004 and have two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Hmmm, this two kids with one woman theme seems to be popular with K-Fed. He has two kids with Shar Jackson before he dumped her and got together with Britney. Now with two kids with Britney, it’s time for K-Fed to move on to further his genetically irresistible genes.
To help K-Fed with all his child support payments, why not buy his recently released rap CD, Playing with Fire? How can you not like songs like The World Is Mine, America’s Most Hated, A League of My Own, and my personal favorite, Dance With a Pimp?

Make the Holidays Happy for Tyra Banks
Want to make supermodel Tyra Banks happy this holiday season? Then lavish her with gifts from her Holiday Wish List (sponsored by Yahoo!). What does this fashion-model-turned-talk-show host need? Here is Tyra’s list:
Apple iPod (Nano) Red- Apple MacBook 1.83 GHz
- TUCANO Work-out 13″ MacBook
- Canon PowerShot SD500 Digital ELPH
- Motorola V3i DOLCE & GABBANA
- Sling Media Slingbox Pro
And to stop the player hating that the Angry Asian Girl is going to laydown, here’s a pre-emptive response. Ms. Banks is entitled to receiving some gifts. She works hard, extremely hard. She has her charity, TZONE, her production company, Bankable Productions, and does two television shows, America’s Next Top Model and The Tyra Banks show. Normal people just don’t understand how hard she works. Look beyond the fact that she makes $50,000 a day while modeling and her Victoria’s Secret contract is worth $4 million. From August to December, Tyra worked “12 hours a day, seven days a week, taping two talk-show episodes three days a week (plus daily segments for ANTM) and preparing for her last fashion show for Victoria’s Secret. She awoke at 4 a.m., was in makeup by 5 a.m. and ran on three or four hours of sleep each night.” That’s some hard work I say! And look at her modest past, living with “her younger brother and her mother in a one-bedroom apartment in the gritty Inglewood section of Los Angeles.” With such suffering and dedication, Tyra deserves to a few gadget gifts to make her holidays happy.
