Using an NG tube to feed an infant is pretty traumatic, both for the infant and family members. Inserting the tube is the worst part and keeping the tube away from prying hands is tough.
How long does this have to go on? We’re only on day one.
Remember Duane “Dog” Chapman? It hasn’t been that long since his brotherly downfall. I never paid attention to where his bail bonds office was but happened to drive past it the other day.

Hawaii’s only Niketown in Waikiki turns ten years old in February. In the tradition of Nike sports, there will be a run to celebrate this anniversary.
The first 50 runners will receive a ten year anniversary shirt and all runners can enjoy a BBQ with refreshments after the run.
Knowing how sucky Circuit City is regarding sales and stocked items, I’ve been going to Best Buy since they tend to have sale items in stock. I even started buying items online from BestBuy.com.
But for this past holiday season, I ordered an iPod charger as a Secret Santa gift. I placed the order on December 11, well ahead of the Christmas shipping deadline. What shows up in our mail today? The overdue gift. 🙁
Best Buy(.com), why do I bother?
I don’t know how many times I’ve gone to Circuit City after seeing their weekly ad only to find that they are out of stock. To begin with, it doesn’t seem like they have much in stock to begin with and once the sale starts, items disappear quickly.
The other week, I went in for 3 items. Two were out of stock and I had to hunt through the store to find one of the items on my list.
Circuit City, why do I bother?
Shawn Kemp once fascinated the NBA with his powerful dunks. Known as the manchild for jumping to the League from high school then the Reign Man for raining dunks on those who got in his way like this video shows.
Away from the court, Shawn is an Apple fan. Yes, the Reign Man covets all things Cupertino and was at the Apple Store at Ala Moana picking up some goods over the Holidays.

Had our annual holiday gathering at Mac 24/7 in Waikiki. The restaurant feels kind of sterile with the layout, lighting, and uniforms. Food was okay, more novelty dishes but fun to see like my huge stack of Kona coffee moca pancakes.
Oogling the Club 939 calendar for 2008 was popular with everyone, girls and guys alike. Thanks to Mr. 939 (accompanied by Deejay Betty) for the New Year’s gifts.
There were some winner gifts in grab bag and some absolute stinkers in the white elephant. We need a timeframe before previous white elephant gifts can be reintroduced. Those flowers and tassel purse were exotic if not quixotic!

How can you forget Poison, Do Me!,and When Will I See You Smile Again? I was talking with Coco Bean about music from the 90’s after she attended a forgettable concert featuring Sweet Sensation, Cover Girls, Freedom Williams of C+C Music Factory, and others then I thought of BBD, Bell Biv DeVoe.
I also remembered meeting the trio (actually mainly Michael Bivins) at a celebrity basketball game back in the day on the campus of the caffeinated Anteaters. Got Biv’s autograph on their WBBD – BOOTCITY! remix CD.
I’m sorry but with all the comedic genius that is Gregg Hammer, listening to I-94’s Wake-Up Crew is tough without Rory Wild leading the pack. Rory’s timing, coordination, wit, and perspectives drives the Wake-Up Crew with great interplay with Gregg, Natasha, and Krey-Z. When Rory’s gone, Hammer running the show just ain’t the same.
This is when I turn to other stations like 102.7 Da Bomb with Sam Da Man. Sam is pretty funny but as the lead DJ, he can’t compete with Rory, but sorry to say, he is better than Hammer.
There is one exception though. Gregg likes to play some old school R&B and rap music instead of the current same old so he gets props for that. You can never go wrong with Tupac’s California Love.
