Made for the H50 cast, the customizations are mind blowing.  “Book’em Danno” on the tongue, “Hawaii” and “Five-0” on the heel backs, and the sock liner with the names of the cast and their respective character names (sorry Kamekona). The colors are themed after the show’s logo.

Is Swirl Candy Apple still open for business in Hawaii? I no longer see the long-time vendor in Windward Mall, and their Ward location has been gone for some time.

Could other bakeries offering candy apples at a competitive cost led to Swirl’s downfall?

Is It Legal to Wear Headphones While Driving in Hawaii?

While stuck in Hawaii traffic, you’ve seen them – drivers wearing headphones in their cars.  I never quite understood why. Is their car stereo busted? Is the music quality of the headphones that much better? Is it even legal to wear headphones while driving in Hawaii?

Looks like the answer is yes, it is legal.  According to AAA (in this Lifehacker article), it is perfectly legal to wear headphones while driving in Hawaii.  In other states, this is banned though, so check first before donning them Beats.
