Seems like there are a few “must have” Mac software lists out there so why not make my own?
Here’s what I find useful beyond the usual iLife and Office apps.
Apple’s offering a free test drive of a new Mac Mini. Order a Mini on-line from the Apple Store and give it a spin for 30 days. Return it if you’re not happy. Simple.
So for you Windows users that are tired of viruses, spyware, and other bad juju that you didn’t know you could get, this is a good time to see how the “other side” works!

CNN is carrying a story about folks stampeding to get their hands on used iBooks for $50. These 4-year old laptops were used in the Henrico County School district in Virginia and are being phased out. Fights ensued, a lady pee-ed on herself, and a dude used a folding chair to beat back those who tried to cut in line. Then all the Hulkamanics rose up and… oh wait, wrong venue.
Would this happen if the laptops were Dells?
