The Dancing with the Stars finals is tonight for Jerry, Drew, and Stacy. Two dances, one of which will be freestyle. Who will win?
Let’s discuss… It’s amazing Jerry Rice survived the past two weeks ousting Lisa Rinna and George Hamilton. But Jerry’s time is up. His appearance at the Superbowl festivities boosted his fan support, but the Superbowl is done, the Pro Bowl is done, and NFL action is done, so Jerry is done. That and, unless Jerry brings down the house, the judges will give him the Master P treatment of low scores.
Has Stacy Keibler peaked too soon? She does so well each week that the judges may hold her to a higher standard. You could see some of it last week when cocky Judge Carrie Ann Inaba wanted to see Stacy take a chance and do more in her performance. Can Stacy raise her game even higher, exceeding the judges’ higher standard? Her hotness will still draw in votes though.
That leaves Drew Lachey. While he’s been doing well throughout, his dances have continued to show small improvements. Add in some flare here and fix his shoulder posture there. He and dance partner Cheryl may be in the best position going into the Finals. The freestyle dance could be a big factor as well. Cheryl’s choreography is flashy and showy, especially right at the beginning of each dance. Their dance entrances mesmerize you, and with the freedom of a freestyle dance, an entire routine of Cheryl’s choreography could be the winning ticket. But… the first American Idol voter results show also airs tonight which may distract the demographic voting for Drew. The American Idol wild card.
Here are my predictions of the average scores of the judges.
Jerry and Anna
Carrie Ann: 7
Len: 5
Bruno: 6
Stacy and Tony
Carrie Ann: 9
Len: 9
Bruno: 10
Drew and Cheryl
Carrie Ann: 9
Len: 10
Bruno: 10
Watch the finals tonight, and see Drew come out as the dancing king on Sunday’s results show!

Google announced a new service called Page Creator. This free tool allows users to create web pages without knowing HTML.
This must be a real killer service cause Google stopped accepting new applicants for Page Creator already. Here’s what I got when I applied.
Thank you for your interest in Google Page Creator! Google Page Creator has experienced extremely strong demand, and, as a result, we have temporarily limited the number of new signups as we increase capacity. In the meantime, please submit your email address and we will notify you as soon as we are ready to add new accounts. Thank you for your patience.

What type of meeting attendee are you? The Talker? The Sigher? The Killer? Or the productive, reasonable contributor?
About the productive, reasonable contributor:
If you get three of these people together in a meeting you should change the topic to quitting and starting a new company.

The iTunes Music Store had an on-going contest leading up to the sale of the one billionth song. I missed buying that special song since the contest is now over. The unnamed winner gets:
Ten iPods! Dear Pulpconnection readers, you know I woulda hooked up the bestest fans with an iPod, and a scholarship in the name of Pulpconnection would be impressive. Oh well, I guess it wasn’t meant to be. I just should be happy that Nick “Jessica’s ex” Lachey released a new single, What’s Left of Me.

One of the complaints I got about blogging, especially commenting on blogs, is remembering to check back for additional comments. I would love if there were a good way of tracking comments and getting notified if others make comments as well. The new service coComment is trying to address this so I decided to give it a try.
coComment is sorta what I’m looking for but the biggest thing is coComment will only track comments placed by coComment users. For coComment to work, you need to install a “bookmarklet” for your supported browser and blogging service. Before you submit your comment, you click on the coComment bookmarklet that updates your coComment account. When you visit the coComment site, you’ll see all your comments from every blog you made comments on. Of course, you can get an RSS feed of your comments as well.
Here’s an introduction on getting started with coComment. Try it out.

Technorati has a new feature called Favorites. With your Technorati account, you select your favorite blogs and add them as favorites. Then when you go to Technorati, you’ll see the posts from your favorite sites consolidated for you. You can also RSS these consolidated favorites if you want.
Here are my Technorati Faves (for now).

Yikes! I thought the custom kicks made for the All Stars were ugly. I guess the League needed something to match the hideous uniforms worn by the NBA All Stars. Eeesh!
Although, I’d probably change my tune if I got an autographed Shaq or DWade All Star jersey.

Apple has officially announced a Special Event on February 28 to “see some fun new products from Apple.” The Event will be held on the Apple campus at 9AM.
Could be the coming out party for THE video iPod. The iPhone rumor is always out there. I’m hoping for some kind of DVR or at least a super duper version of Front Row and a video AirPort Express (AEx). You connect a video (AEx) to your home AV setup. Have videos, movies, or whatever stored on your Mac. Wirelessly connect your Mac to the video AEx, and you’re in business. Of course to make this work well, there also needs to be a remote control of some sort. How about a bigger version of THE video iPod that is like a tablet but with touch screen controls for playback? Sounds doable.

Speaking of All-Star, some All-Star footwear according to an article in Lexus magazine that helped to shape athletic style:
Kicks are everywhere…even in a car magazine!
Get the pilot episode of Conviction, a new NBC legal drama, free in the iTunes Music Store. There’s also a free music video from the show along with a behind-the-scenes look.
Some familiar faces appear on the show. Ain’t that Charles Gunn from Angel?
