Microsoft has finally made it official. They’re going up against Apple with their own brand of iPod killer termed Project Zune. Details are very sparse right now, but Zune is a “family of hardware and software products” that’ll provide “great opportunity to bring together technology and community to allow consumers to explore and discover music together.”
