So I watched the live stream of Boinx Labs unveiling their latest iPhone 4 app, You Gotta See This, and viewers could interact with the Boinx Labs hosts.
I said aloha from Hawaii and little did I know how lucky this message of aloha would be. Throughout the show, the hosts randomly picked viewers to win prizes, and I won a You Gotta See This logo-ed shirt! Late last week, there was this package in the mail all the way from Germany.

Thar Be Skeletons, Capn Jack!
Went to check out the hoopla at Heeia Kea Pier in Kaneohe, the filming site of Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides. Though Captain Jack Sparrow, aka Johnny Depp was no where around, the crowds were still coming. We lucked out with parking right at the pier side and stayed for about 15 minutes.
From the distant public viewing area, you couldn’t see very much of the Queen Anne’s Revenge. Lots of props and equipment blocked a clean view of the ship, and those were skeleton props in the cage hanging from the ship’s stern.
The little deli/supply store at the pier must have had more business than ever during the filming. The panoramic picture was created using Boinx Labs You Gotta See This.

Not sure if these bumper stickers are still there at the Windward end of the Pali, but someone wants to make sure we keep the country cropped.

Not a good sign for our Power Miser 9 and its pilot light that’s been going out recently.

Once again, the Cadillac Escalade is nationally one of the most stolen vehicles. So if you got one of these pimpin’ beasts, look out for its hotness!
But in Hawaii, keep an eye on your 1995 Honda Civic. This aging, popular classic is the theft of choice for Hawaii autos.
