Baby Car Seat Safety
Replaced Merynn’s infant carrier car seat with a convertible seat. Went with the Britax Marathon seats purchased from Baby Emporium whose prices are good and service is great. Got the playful Ashley Floral and traditional denim Electric Blue.

Review of the Jordan Melo 5.5
The renowned kicksologist, Professor K, is back with a review of Carmelo Anthony’s Jordan Melo 5.5 shoe. A tribute to the old Air Jordan V and VI, the 5.5 gets high marks from the Professor.
For those of you who don’t know Professor K (aka Ernest Kim), he posts the best reviews of kicks starting with his own legendary site Kicksology.net. He’s since joined Sole Collector where he gets paid to wear the latest kicks and write about them. What a job!

Concerned about the Tabasco Man
I’m starting to get a little concerned about the Tabasco Man and his recent bout with hives. With his new prescription of medication that includes some steroids, he’s getting a little better. His physique is getting pretty buffed up from the ‘roid action, but I think some side effects of all the medication are starting to show.
I just took this snapshot of the Tabasco Man working out and something just doesn’t seem right. I can’t quite figure out what though. Hmm…
Speaking of Patrick Dempsey

Patrick Dempsey, currently on the excellent Grey’s Anatomy television show, is on People’s 2005 Sexiest Man Alive list. I must say he’s come a long, long way from his days of Can’t Buy Me Love.
Sexiest Man Alive 2005
When I saw that People magazine published their 2005 Sexiest Man Alive issue, I well expected to see Wayne’s World topping the list. After all, he was overlooked by Cosmo as the Top Bachelor in Hawaii early this year. But alas, no.
Here’s the 2005 list (with their ages):
- Matthew McConaughey (36)
- Patrick Dempsey (39)
- Terrence Howard (36)
- Viggo Mortensen (47)
- Vince Vaughn (35)
- Nick Lachey (32)
- Heath Ledger (26)
- Daniel Dae Kim (37)
- Keith Urban (38)
- Ian McShane (63)
- Matt Damon (35)
- Denis Leary (48)
- Anderson Cooper (38)
- Clive Owen (41)
C’mon what do these guys have that Wayne’s World doesn’t?
Getting Slammed for Doing Someone Else’s Job
Just finished talking about passing your work on to others, now I’m getting slammed for doing someone else’s work that was assigned to me. Where’s the sense in that?
I wasn’t the first, second, or third choice for this responsibility. Heck, I don’t even have a background in this subject area and even after explaining that fact, I was given the duty. Trying to get the parties involved that is supposed to be doing this duty is crazy since no one wants it.
Good thing I’m too tired to be upset at these stupid mothers and fathers.
Busy Week at Work
Yep, work’s been busy this week. Is this a good thing or bad thing? Who knows? Some of it is good, but again some of this busy work is doing stuff that others should/could be doing. You know how it is. Yeah, I’m all for helping out fellow workers and team members, but there is a fine line of passing your work and responsibilities on to others. This line’s been crossed several times recently, but nothing ever happens to these individuals.
I miss those days working on the H-queue blackjack project as a team.
Our Big Boss is a Good Dude
Gotta say that after spending some time interacting with our big boss, I’ve learned that he’s a pretty good dude. Has the right intentions and wants to do the right things. As part of Senior Management Leadership, this is pretty refreshing to see.
Hopefully his beliefs carry over into the workplace.
