Apple’s Back to School Promotion Begins
Apple has started its annual Back to School promotion where buying a new Mac gets you a “free” iPod. There are some restrictions to the free iPod but still a killer deal if you’re going to buy a Mac anyways.

Formaggio Grill in Kailua is hosting an upcoming “Twitter Dinner” where guests can learn about Twitter while dining. This themed meal is on Tuesday, June 2 at 6pm.
If a Twitter dinner isn’t enough, how about a job tweeting? The Murphy-Goode Winery in Sonoma County is searching for a social media maven who can jump start the winery’s Web 2.0 presence. We’re talking Facebook, blogs, Twitter, YouTube, and whatever else you can think of.
This temporary job goes for six months and pays $10,000 per month as you live on the lands of the Murphy-Goode Winery. If this job is to your tasting, interviews will be at Formaggio on June 3rd.
Looking for some good eats, thirst-quenching drinks, and great live music? Then the 14th annual A Touch of `Iolani is just for you!
The “iLounge” event goes down on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the `Iolani School campus. This event is a fundraiser, and tickets are discounted to $65 through the end of May. After that, prices go up to $70 per person. Buy your tickets online.

This post is also a test of Twitterfeed. Seeing if I like the delayed Twitter feed versus the immediate tweet generated by Twitter Tools.
Flat Stanley is a jet setter, and he recently visited Hawaii. Check out his stops in Oahu.
Anyone know if Tats Shave Ice is on Twitter? It’d be cool if the colorful van of cool delights were on Twitter to notify their fans of their whereabouts.
Just yesterday, I saw the van down the street but didn’t get a chance to go. I was hoping they’d be back to day but no luck. Not sure where Tats is today. That could be solved by announcing their location via Twitter like Kogi Korean BBQ-To-Go does.
The big one is Luna Lamb, and the little one is Ovejita (as in Murray and Ovejita on Sesame Street).
Caught my first sight of Mighty Muggs. Hotness!
These collectible figurines feature characters from Transformers, G.I. Joe, Marvel, Star Wars, and more. You can even design your own Mighty Mugg.
Interesting. I disabled the WordPress plugin, reCAPTCHA, for one day and in that time, get 10 new user registrations on this site. Probably bogus accounts for spamming. Sorry but looks like I’m reactivating the protection of reCAPTCHA.
I’ve been fiending a Valdezign Twitter shirt for some time, and now these Threadless Twitter tees got me a flitter. In the ways of Steven Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, how can we think win-win and synergize some creative cooperation?
How about this? I have a few Twitter tee submissions, and it would be absolutely cool if one of these became a shirt. And here’s where I need help and the win-win proposition comes in. For my fellow “Warriors,” how about voting for one of my Twitter tee submissions (probably this one) and getting your followers to vote as well? I’m talking to you:
If my submission wins, I’ll buy you either a Threadless Twitter tee or a Twitter name shirt from Valdezign. Sound good? Place your vote!
While I haven’t yet bought a shirt from Threadless, I might have to give in with their latest launch. Check out their custom Twitter tees based on user submitted tweets from Twitter. Users submit and vote on tweets, and each week, two tweets will become Threadless shirt creations.
If that ain’t cool enough, if your tweet is picked, you’ll receive $500 ($360 in cash and $140 in Threadless credit).
To see how this works, vote for my first submission by clicking here (so I have no shame, so what?). You can also tweet this submission or share it on Facebook and other sites.
Cool idea all around. Nice, @threadless.
While I was an initial fan, I lost touch with Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I guess I wasn’t the only one since the series has been terminated by Fox.
Does this mean Skynet won or lost? Did humanity survive or do we have to wait for Salvation?
