Sing It Susan!
Another amazing song by new sensation Susan Boyle. In 1999, Susan recorded a track for a charity CD and the Daily Record was able to find a copy.
Listen to Susan sing “Cry Me a River” (not the Justin Timberlake version).

I’m late to this and only now have seen and heard Susan Boyle sing on Britain’s Got Talent.
Wow!
Sorry, YouTube embedding of the video has been disabled. Here’s a CBS segment on Susan.
The almighty Oprah goes live on Twitter on Friday, April 17. She’ll be sending her first Tweet on her show which also features one million follower winner, Ashton Kutcher.
Can Twitter handle the legions of The Oprah fans?
Keep an eye out around town for one Stanley Burrell aka MC Hammer! Hammer’s actually in Hawaii as announced by his Twitter stream.
The race to one million followers on Twitter between CNN and Ashton Kutcher is getting more interesting with game maker EA taking Kutcher’s side. EA will put Ashton’s one millionth follower in its upcoming Sims 3 game and is throwing in every EA game that’s made in 2009.
Theoretically both CNN and aplusk will hit one million viewers tomorrow, but who will get there first?
The Twitter showdown is on between CNN and Ashton Kutcher. Both are nearing one million followers on Twitter so they’re racing to see who gets to this milestone first.
In one view, Ashton already has a victory of getting 900k followers as an individual rather than the news conglomeration of CNN. I did my part and started following Mr. Demi Moore. While viewing his profile, I also see that Lil’ Kim is on Twitter so I had to follow this dancing diva.
Don’t look now, but the ABC hit, Dancing with the Stars, has a small kine local competitor with “Dancing with the Celebrities.” Local celebrities and the Hawaii Ballroom Dancing Association are teaming up for a dancing event featuring some familiar names like:
On Saturday, May 2, 2009, you can see these stars (and dancing neophytes) at the Ala Wai Palladium for $20. Tannya Joaquin will be dancing a rumba. Wonder how it’ll compare to this rumba of Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas? 😉
What would you do if you happened to catch a rare, endangered shark? You’d eat it, of course!
Fishermen in the Philippines caught a 1100 pound, 13-foot megamouth shark, only the 41st megamouth ever seen in the world. After reaching port, the fishermen took a picture of the dead shark then fired up the stoves.
My boss at work sent out this explanation of Twitter to help our staff understand what Twitter is all about.
It’s pretty fun and accurate too!
