Feeling Like a Fraud
Three panic attacks in less than a week? Feeling like a fraud over on Easier Said Than Done, the private remix.
Anteaters Love Coffee
Who knew Anteaters love their coffee? Not those anteaters, but the fearsome Anteaters of UC Irvine. According to the Fall/Winter 2007 issue of UCimagazine, the on-campus Starbucks (operated by Aramark Corp) is second in sales only to New York University.
ZOT! ZOT!
Did You Get Your UH WAC Champion Shirt?
Did you get your UH Football WAC Champion shirt? If not, you may have to wait awhile while more are made.
Thanks to the very thorough and dedicated The Warriors Will Throw blog, here’s a YouTube clip showing the lines of people waiting to get their official WAC Champion shirts.
KHNL coverage at about 2:50 into the video. KITV coverage at the 5:30 mark.

Giving Thanks for 40,000 Visits
On this Turkey Day, I just wanted to say thanks to all the Pulpconnection readers over the years. The site has now surpassed 40,000 visits which I think is pretty good for this amateur production in my “spare time.” 😉
What started off as a curiosity in 2005 is still interesting now and has given me practical experience in all kinds of stuff (web design, HTML, CSS, widgets, Search Engine Optimization, advertising, image editing, movie editing, and writing).
Here’s the timeline for visits.
- 10,000 visits – November 2006
- 20,000 visits – May 2007 (6 months later)
- 30,000 visits – October 2007 (5 months later)
- 35,000 visits – November 2007 (1 month later)
- 40,000 visits – November 2007 (17 days later)
As I usually do, here’s some facts provided by Google Analytics.

Dell Helping Your Holiday Wish List?
And we’re not talking about getting Dell products for Christmas. In a strange move, Dell is creating a new web site called YoursIsHere so that users can receive on-line donations. While Dell hopes you use these donations to buy Dell products, there is nothing stopping users from using the donations for anything else.

My Brother, Dog Chapman
I always thought Duane “Dog” Chapman was a hip guy. I mean how else could he be what he is and dress the way he does without being a mockery?
So now, he’s apologized on national television for using the N-word and said the following:
I thought that I was cool enough in the black world to be able to use that word as a brother to a brother. I’m not… I now learned I’m not black at all.
Say what Dog? You ain’t black?!
Actually though, even though Dog’s words were heinous, I think his son’s betrayal of trust was a worse transgression. Selling out his own father (and family) to make “a lot of money” from the National Inquirer? 🙁
The Tabasco Man Wins (Again!)
Congratulations to the Tabasco Man for winning Pulpconnection’s Blackout Giveaway! He predicted that Pulpconnection would reach 35,000 visits on November 6 at 11:21 PM, and the milestone actually occurred the morning of Monday, November 5.
The Tabasco Man gets his own copy of Britney Spears’ latest CD, Blackout (the Bonus Track version), along with a $5 Starbucks gift card that comes with 2 free songs from iTunes.
I tell you, that guy is just too good. There’s been three Pulpconnection contests so far, and the Tabasco Man has been in the mix in all of them. For the Countdown to Ten Thousand, he was beat out by 35 seconds on winning that contest. He did win the SuperBowl Sunday Giveaway, and now he wins the Blackout Giveaway. Too good I say.
Congratulations again to the Tabasco Man and thanks to everyone else for playing! Look for more Pulpconnection contests coming your way.

NBA Amazing Commercials
The 2007 NBA season has kicked off and has brought along some impressive television commercials touting an “Amazing” theme. These commercials feature the serious and fun sides of the NBA. Here’s a sample from YouTube.
With all the variations of these Amazing commercials, Yahoo Answers say they feature the same amazing piano score called Everyday by Carly Comando. This great song is available on iTunes in the higher quality, DRM-free iTunes Plus version for $1.

Mitsu-Ken Garlic Chicken Was Tasty
The owners of Mitsu-Ken have some issues going on. One was nabbed for drunk driving then yesterday, the other owner was arrested for sexual assault after posing as a teen girl on mySpace then assaulting a 15-year old boy.
That garlic chicken isn’t tasting so good now…
