To Bare, or Not to Bare: That is the Question
What happens when you take four American adult film stars and enroll them in London’s top theatrical school? You get another reality TV show called My Bare Lady.

Of note is that one of the stars, Ms. Nautica Thorn, is from Hawaii. According to Wikipedia and IMDB, she was born somewhere called “Waipahu Ewa.”
The iTunes Store is carrying this Fox show and is currently giving away the first episode for free.

iTunes U at UH
The iTunes University, or iTunes U, is a special iTunes site where universities can host their own content such as lectures, interviews, and school sporting events. Students and faculty can access the content using the standard iTunes software and tote around this material on iPods.
What schools have partnered with Apple on this initiative? Early adopters include UC Berkeley, Stanford, and the University of Hawaii. Yep, UH has extended its Manoa campus to iTunes U. UH username and password required for access though.

Holiday Gift Guide: Music from The Best Holiday Collection?
I did a flashback of this Holiday music collection last year, but these selections are timeless.
I present The Best Holiday Collection?
Don’t forget the custom CD artwork.

Oh yeah, sorry, but I had to make some minor changes to match what’s available in iTunes. The songs are mostly there (except for Henry Kapono).

Holiday Gift Guide: Pulpy Underpants
Still don’t know what to give as gifts this holiday season? Santa Pulpy recommends some Pulpy underpants! Custom designed and inspired by Pulpconnection, these underpants are sure to come in handy.
For instance, say you’re a 25-year old mother with 2 kids, recently divorced, and having some fun in Sin City and the City of Angels. While riding to the next shindig, you remember, “Ooops! I forgot my underpants in the diaper bag.” What do you do? Of course, you forget about it (and the fact that people might be taking pictures of you), and you go about your business. How about later in the week when you forget again and think to yourself, “Oops, I did it again.” But your partying going pal reassures you that stars are blind so forget about it and party on. How about the third time when you’re caught sans underpants? Your other gal pal tells you not to worry since there won’t be any rumors. Now all of a sudden whammo!
All of this could have easily been avoided if you had some Pulpy underpants available. So this Holiday season, be a real pal and get all your friends some Pulpy underpants.

Flashback: 20 Hits a Day
On December 30, 2005, I relayed an article about three ways to double website traffic. The three ways are to use Technorati, use Feedburner, and use Trackbacks. In the post, I also dreamed that maybe Pulpconnection could get up to 20 hits a day if I follow these recommendations.
Since then I continued to use Technorati, finally got Feedburner incorporated, but still don’t use Trackbacks, and you know what? The recommendations have worked. Sitemeter is reporting an average of 35 visits to Pulpconnection per day. Cool!

Opera Mini Browser Installed!
After remembering my note to self, I installed the Opera Mini browser on my Motorola v540 phone. I used the SMS link download option where I got an SMS message with the link to download and install the software. Pretty simple.
Here are some pictures of the Opera Mini install. SMS link to download the software.
Pulpconnection viewed in Opera Mini.
Opera Mini is way better than the phone’s included browser that couldn’t even open up Pulpconnection. Speed is decent, you can see scaled down graphics, and it’s easy to use!
Note to Self: Try Out Operamini Browser
Try out the Operamini broswer for Java-based cell phones. Check if phone is compatible.
Reminder for Wayne’s World: Bring Friends and Family Coupons
Just a subtle reminder to WW to bring the Gap and Niketown F&F coupons for pickup on Tuesday.
Thanks!
New Get a Mac Commercials
I may be preaching to the choir, but Apple released three new Get a Mac commercials, Gift Exchange, Sales Pitch, and Meant for Work.
Gift Exchange is pretty funny with PC hoping to get a C++ GUI programming book for Christmas.
Who hasn’t gotten a Mac? Wayne’s World – check. The Tabasco Man – check. Angry Asian Girl – check. kazuo – check. T’s close to the breaking point.
Go watch these commercials then go get a Mac!
