Air Max ’90 – Inspired by Pulpconnection
Kicks design inspired by this very site. Went with the Air Max ’90 again (Class of 90 is a good vintage) and came up with this.

Possibly Free ABC TV Shows on iTunes?
ABC is possibly going to give away its hit television shows like Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, and Desperate Housewives via iTunes. There’s been unconfirmed stories that ABC will offer these shows for free but with commercial ads embedded in them. Sounds like you would still be able buy these shows for $1.99 per episode but these paid versions will be commercial free.
Maybe true after all, and perhaps Disney CEO, Bob Iger, (and Steve Jobs) can save network TV…

Air Max ’90 – Inspired by CCTWT
Next up is kicks inspired by CCTWT. This was a tough one, and I had to go with the Air Max ’90 since its color palette was the closest one that resembled CCTWT. The Air Max ’90 was revolutionary as is the material on CCTWT. A dark base with high contrast colors and shades of grey.

Air Max 1 – Inspired by Wayne’s World
Ah the fun of customizing kicks using Nike iD… I was recently inspired to try different color combinations and thought why not base the color schemes on my favorite blogs?
So here’s what I got as inspired by Wayne’s World. Clean lines and classic design of the Air Max 1. Minimal colors with vibrant highlights.

Amped with Vault

Drank it today, and it tastes pretty good and kind of familiar. Then I remembered. It tastes like Coke’s former drink Surge! Is Vault really rebranded Surge? Caffeine addicts rejoice!
After 290 calories of sugar and who knows how much caffeine, I’m all jittery and amped up!!

The Baby Dog Days Posting Challenge

Either way, I challenged her to write one post per day for five days on Baby Dog Days, and she too can enjoy the sweet melodies of Luv’ing a Stripper. So far, she’s got three posts in two days! Three days more to go. Looks like I may be forking out another 99-cents for an iTunes gift song.

Boring Apple Special Event
Today’s Apple Special Event introducing new, fun products was kinda boring. No big surprises announced. Instead a revamped Mac Mini with an Intel processor was released along with the iPod Hi-Fi.

No DVR announcements from Apple yet. Although the new Mini is looking more and more like it could perform DVR functions. This article talks about using the new Mini for HDTV purposes. What’s HDTV? Go read up on CCTWT.

It’s Final. The Drew Crew Wins Dancing with the Stars.

All the original performers returned for an encore, and I must say the fans and the judges made the right elimination choices. Kenny Mayne and Master P still can’t dance a lick.
In this final week of performances, all the finalists learned and showed something new. Jerry Rice finally got it. He understood the joy of his performances, and it showed with his best dances ever. His last dance was his best with excellent footwork and smoothness. Stacy’s final dance routine would have placed her at the top with the judges had she done it on Thursday. She learned to take a chance and included risky moves that challenged her. Her final dance included tough moves and livin la vida loca energy. The Drew Crew continued their balance of showmanship, excitement, and chemistry in their final dance. What did Drew learn? He learned how to win, how to be a champ, and how to get out of Nick’s shadow.
Notes: I thought the order of performances should have been different. Jerry went first on Thursday and on Sunday – a big disadvantage. Going first almost assures you won’t be getting scores of 10. To be fair, Jerry should have gone second or third on Sunday. Cheryl Burke may have been the best overall partner for this Dancing with the Stars series. I think her choreography is fun and exciting (Drew strumming her like a guitar then leaping over her) and she’s got the look. Stacy’s got her long legs and toned abs, Anna is fit but doesn’t have that sex appeal, but Cheryl, she’s busty and curvy – KA POW! Lastly, what’s with Mary J Blige singing on the show. Just didn’t match.

February is for the Fans

Instead, I’m going with a Club 939 theme, gifting the song I’m N Luv (Wit a Stripper), the unofficial anthem of 939. To fanatics T, Tabasco Man, and Wayne’s World, check your email for your gift. And if things really work out, there may be a follow on gift.
Thanks again!
Microsoft "Surprise Media Presentation" Going Head to Head with Apple?
There’s a report that Microsoft has its own “surprise media presentation” on February 28, the same day Apple announced its Special Event. Microsoft’s event will showcase an “innovative concept in development” while Apple’s event will “see some fun new products.”
Which one would you rather attend? I’d rather see the possible iPod Hi-Fi boombox, the iTunes Movie Store, new Intel-based Mac Minis and iBooks/MacBooks, a video-capable AirPort Express, an iPhone, or THE video iPod. I’m still waiting for Apple’s Tivo killer.
