Even before its grand opening, the Whole Foods Market Kailua location is getting love on Hipster.com, specifically for it huge interior wooden sign.

The view from the Topa Towers is a nice one for Hipsters. For me, this was taken looking out from Oceanic Time Warner’s Downtown offices where a group of social media-ists met to brainstorm OcHui.

Sometimes I do wonder how pictures are selected for Hipster’s Popular List. Â What is their algorithm?
In any case, I was a little surprised with this selection. Â A recent Windward sunrise showcased a pink sky but sadly, utility lines marred the view. Â Still though, Hipsters loved it.
Hip doesn’t have to be new, even the old can be hip. Like this picture I took a month ago that only now made its way to the Hipster Popular Page. Do you see the airplane in the skies above the Ko Olina Beach Lagoon?
I guess morning coffee from Starbucks is hip with this pic making the Popular List on Hipster.com.

It’s official, the Starbucks Blonde Roast is officially hip with this picture making Hipster.com’s popular page.
I wasn’t too happy with the results of the picture, but oh well. I took this picture after getting my free sample of the Blonde Veranda Blend by participating in Starbucks’s coffee tasting. Outside, the morning sun was yellowing the sky, making it look kinda blonde-ish. So I framed the Blonde Roast, Starbucks, and the dim morning light. It was still pretty dark outside so the picture turned out dark and grainy. But like I said, oh well. 🙂

Now this was a nice surprise. After parking and making my way to the beach fronting the Hale Koa Hotel, I saw this tourist couple walking hand-in-hand. I snapped a pic of this romantic moment, sent it to Hipster.com, and now its on their Popular List – a nice surprise.
Observed the New Year’s Holiday at Waikiki Beach, took a pic, posted it on Hipster.com, and now, it’s popular. Yay!
