Just want to put it out there. While I cannot talk for the company as a whole, I know that basically everyone that works at my location of RideMakerz WANTS the Camaro.. bad. It is requested literally dozens of times a day by guests and it is obvious that many folks would have made a purchase if we had the Camaro. Now there have been a lot of rumors out there on why we have not had the Camaro, but what seems the most likely is that GM themselves will only license the Camaro to a certain amount of companies for very specific reasons. Aka, one toy license, one cartoon license, one movie license, etc. Hasbro has had the Camaro license for Transformers since before RZ existed. HOWEVER. There is a counter rumor, that seems to have some meat to it, that we have been able to pick up the 2011 Camaro toy license and are manufacturing them right now, very probably as you read this. If this rumor is true, then they should be in our stores Spring of 2011. The bad news. I have never in store or on facebook or RZtalk, heard a request for a Hawaii-Five O custom job. Which basically means unless you know RZ’s owner Larry personally or launch a HUGE campaign to promote it, its not going to happen. However, we always encourage people who want to customize their cars beyond the 649 million different combonations, they can quite easily using just model paints. Ps. Do not use car paint, it will eat your RZ car.
Good luck and I love Hawaii-Five O. I have not missed an episode yet =)

Matt, thanks for the great insider point of view. The Camaro would be a great addition to the RideMakerz lineup.

The Hawaii Five-0 custom Camaro would be cool especially if it’d play the Five-0 theme song!
