Near the outset of Season 4 of Dancing with the Stars, I thought Cheryl Burke had a good chance of three-peating with partner Ian Ziering. After Week 6, I said Ian Ziering is in trouble. The competition is stepping up their performances while Ian and Cheryl are not. Is Ian in trouble?
Let’s look at some stats from previous seasons of Dancing with the Stars focusing on the progress of partner Cheryl Burke through Week 6 of the competition.

In season 2, Drew Lachey and Cheryl (blue stats line) started strong and kept getting stronger as the weeks progressed. In season 3, Emmitt Smith and Cheryl (red stats line) started good, had a dip, but then had a big resurgence. Currently in season 4, Ian and Cheryl (orange stats line) have been consistent but also have not show the improvements in scores.
Week 7 marks the beginning of two scored dances so if Ian wants to three-peat with Cheryl, he needs to start elevating his performances.
Here are the stats published by Google Spreadsheets

Google’s rebranding their personalized home page feature from “ig” to iGoogle. Yes, iGoogle, similar to iMac, iBook, iWorks, iLife, iPod, and other “i” things made by Apple.
Good thing Google and Apple are friends, otherwise Steve Jobs will throw intellectual property and copyright infringement lawsuits against Google.
Does Apple have an intellectual property case against George Foreman’s iGrill?
Went to a wedding over the weekend that had some great live music. One guy, his piano, and great songs played with an easy-going, lounge style. Set a relaxing tone for the entire evening. I forgot his name, but here’s part of his rendition of Killing Me Softly.
Sorry about the format, but not sure how else to do this.
Came across this post outlining the top ten signs that you’re addicted to blogging.

Just a quick blurb about Lost, and how I think it’s regaining some of its momentum that it lost while on break. The past few episodes have been good, yeah, even that Razzle Dazzle fun one focusing on Nicki and Paulo. More questions are being answered but of course a few more questions creep up.
That eye patch guy is alive after being “killed” by the Others’ force field fence? Everyone on Flight 815 was found dead? How do you explain the Lost survivors and how they were found “dead?” That also means no one must be looking for them. Good thing Desmond is around since Penny is looking for him. So Viagara must be produced on Lost island huh? And who knew the downtown Chinese Cultural Plaza is a spitting image of Korea?
Only a few more episodes left for this season, and I hope Lost will end after next season. I think the best trend right now for television shows is having a definite end date targeted. Play out your story after a few years and move on to another show. Otherwise, you’ll just drag on and on kinda like Desperate Housewives (what is going on with the story lines and what’s the point of the show?)

This week, the iTunes Store is giving away a free episode of MTV’s Pimp My Ride. In this freebie, Xzibit and the Crew pimp out a 1965 Thunderbird with a 500hp engine!
MTV, pimp my ride!!
The marketing staff at Nike must be going crazy with the latest injuries to their signature players introducing new kicks in the NBA Playoffs. First it was LeBron James who rolled his ankle wearing his new LeBron Soliders.

If I were still a baller, would I buy the Soliders looking at what happened to LeBron? Probably not. Look at the agony!

Next, Kobe Bryant showcased his new Strength shoe of the Kobe line.

And what does he do in Game 2 against the Suns? He turns his ankle.

Truthfully any type of shoes will not prevent ankle sprains, but you never know what sticks in the head of consumers who are shopping for kicks.

George Foreman’s grills have gone next generation with the introduction of the iGrill. Yes, the iGrill. While cooking some burgers outdoors, why not liven up the mood with music from your iPod played ala the iGrill’s integrated speaker system.
For you Foreman fans, cost is $150.
