In Case You Didn’t Know….
Whole Foods Market Kailua opens for business at 7am daily, and is like, the only time the store is empty.
Didn’t Wait for Fabio
There was a line to meet the personification of romance aka Fabio at Whole Foods Market Kailua so I bailed. Can you spot Fabio in the picture?
Coming in May, LEGO Minifgures Series 7
Just heard that Series 7 of the LEGO minifigures arrive in May. While I’m not an avid collector, getting a few of these from specialty LEGOs is fun. The Galaxy Patrol guy is definitely cool. The Ocean King is different, and I like the headdress of the Aztec Warrior.
Here’s a video describing each Series 7 character and how you can tell what’s in the packages by feeling them.

The Happiest Place in the World Got Happier
Disneyland, the Happiest Place in the World, just got a little bit happier… for caffeine addicts anyways. Starbucks is joining Mickey and Donald in the Magic Kingdom.
What took so long? I don’t know but are you willing to pay for a $7 coffee drink? I’m just guessing at that price, but I can definitely believe it for a Venti.
Loving iCloud Backup and Restore
I never really paid attention to iCloud’s Backup and Restore features before. I had enabled this feature since it sounded like the thing to do but never really understood the ramifications. I found out today.
After fighting with an unresponsive home button on my iPhone 4 for some time, I took it to Apple’s Genius Bar twice this week. First, my phone’s OS and firmware were reloaded. That helped a little bit, but there would be times I had to jam the home button 2-3 times before anything happened.
So today when I went back, Apple replaced my iPhone 4 with a new refurbished unit. Cool. The old phone had automatically backed up to iCloud this morning so after configuring this replacement phone, I said to restore from iCloud. Within 20 minutes over the Apple’s Store Wifi connection, all my settings, folders, and iCloud data was restored. The apps started reinstalling themselves too but this took longer, understandably.
So the iCloud backup isn’t just for contacts and calendars but for everything! Read more about iCloud’s Backup and Restore.
Pictures of Day 2 Whole Foods Market Kailua
The Grand Opening of Whole Foods Market Kailua was madness, but at the start of Day 2, the store looked ready to handle the crowds. Here are a few photos of the local foods offered and some other stuff you might not have noticed.
DWTS Season 14 Giving You Want You Want
Dancing with the Stars, Season 14, is giving you and me, the viewers, everything we want. Want more skin? Jaleel opens up shirt, Derek Hough takes off his shirt, and William Levy is well, William Levy. For the ladies, Peta’s dress was hardly there and Katherine Jenkins’ legs in that dress – wow.
And you know if the judges get what they want, it’ll benefit us. What do I mean? With the addition of the dance off for the bottom two, the judges can “save” the better dancers. This means that unless two heavyweights are in the bottom, we are going to get the ultimate Finals. That would be repeat champions Derek Hough (Seasons 7, 10, 11), Cheryl Burke (Seasons 2 & 3), and Mark Ballas (Seasons 6 & 8 ) going against each other for Mirrorball bragging rights. That would be an unforgettable mix of choreography, skill, and performance! Don’t forget about two-time champion Kym Johnson who has a chance with Urkel, and Donald Driver’s championship drive that could find him a spot in the Finals.
My favorites from Week 5. It used to be favorite (singular), but with all the great performances, I now have weekly favorites (plural).
Derek and Maria definitely did kiss in their sexy salsa.
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba said Katherine Jenkins has the best legs. See for yourself.
Cheryl Burke knows how to strategize William’s image to a victory.
Whole Foods Kailua Opening Madness
Whole Foods Market Kailua opened today seeing more than 600 shoppers in the first hour! I wonder if any opening day sales were set by this Grand Opening?
Passing by the store after work, it was still bustling with crowds. No, I didn’t go inside, but as I drove past the entrance, you could see the shoppers streaming in and out. And the parking situation? It was pure parkemonium! Hmmm, that’s a good word for UrbanDictionary.
Actually, I take it back. Thursday will be sheer parkemonium. Along with those checking out WFM Kailua, the always-busy Farmers Market happens on Thursdays. So the already bad parking situation will be acerbated by vendors occupying precious parking stalls.
Since this is the week of @ryankanno, I’ll associate/blame him for this Whole Foods madness as well. I’m sure at some point in time, he must have said something about the organic food offerings at Whole Foods being delish or AMAZING.
