Britney Spears Starring in Alien 5: Baby One More Time

We got it all wrong. So what if pop star Britney Spears shaved her head and went to get some tats? The craziness of the Pulpconnection rumor-mill predicts that Britney is going for the role of Ellen Ripley of the Aliens movie series. You know how Ripley went bald in Alien 3? Britney’s just getting into character. See the resemblance?


The tattoos of two sets of lips she got on her wrist? A feminine homage to the Alien itself with its two sets of jaws.

The latest installment of Alien would be called Alien 5: Baby One More Time.

Update: So Britney has entered a rehab clinic. Kinda like Ripley stranded on that rehab facility on Alien 3. Oh, the parallels!

B.Nasty Flashback

After talking about the behemoth that is now Bobby Nash, aka B.Nasty of the UH Men’s basketball team, I dug through my old emails and found this.

Check out the biceps from B.Nasty from a few years back.

His game changing four-point play against Rice.

UH could have used some of his lucky game winning shots against New Mexico State last night. He backironed his three-point attempt. UH can compete and hang with the WAC leaders but can’t beat them. Not good.

UH Rolls Over LA Tech

Thanks to sponsorship of the Greatest Legal Mind Ever, it was a Bloggers’ night out watching UH roll over the Bulldogs of Louisiana Tech. The Bows finally beat the Bulldogs, 74 to 50, after losing six straight to them.

Also awarded the coveted Club 939 calendar personalized for Pulpconnection to the Tabasco Man who won the SuperBowl Sunday Giveaway.

Of course, international traveler, Wayne’s World, and Angry Asian Girl had to pass judgement on the models of 939. Wayne’s World likes October.

The basketball action was good, but the grinds and the ogling was better!

Getting Hits from Lost Filming at Club 939

Saw some strange activity today when checking Pulpconnection stats. Had about 30 visits this morning alone when usually 30 hits is typical for the entire day. Looking further, a few Lost spoiler sites have picked up my coverage of Lost filming at Club 939 causing this spike of traffic.

So far, there have been 107 hits coming from Lost Spoilers and the Fuselage.

Silly, Sexed Up Musicians

Oh those silly, sexed up musicians! To keep that edge of musical creativity, they’ll do all kinds of crazy stunts. Up first is Genie in a Bottle, Christina Aguilera, who has “naked Sundays” with her husband of two years. It’s simple really, everything the couple does at home on Sundays is done naked.

And then, there’s the Purple Majesty himself, good ole Prince rocking the halftime show of SuperBowl XLI. I liked his performance playing some great songs including a cover of the Foo Fighters’ Best of You, but did you catch that giant shadow of him and his guitar? Sure looked like an endorsement for that blue pill if you ask me.

Even with a tightly censored halftime show, Prince still managed to sneak in some naughtiness.

And by random drawing, the winner of the Pulpconnection SuperBowl Sunday Giveaway is the Tabasco Man.

How was the Tabasco Man picked? Each person with a Listmania nomination got one “ticket” represented by a song in the Songs for SuperBowl XLI iMix. If you had nominations in both Listmanias, you got two songs listed (max of one nomination per Listmania). The nominations from me and Mr. 939 did not count. I hit the random play button in iTunes, and We Will Rock You started playing. Since that was nominated by the Tabasco Man, he’s the winner!
