Nonsense, it means nothing. Its what people say when they really mean to say “for all intents and purposes”.
Should I even care this erroneous phrase was used? It’s just a mute point right? 😉
Since @abaggy is temporarily out of the loop, there’s no one to mancrush on. So instead, I’m turning my attention to someone else I’ll call Q-chi. What’s so great about Q-chi? It’s his confidence. He’s so confident that he leaves his classic iPod on his desk in plain sight even when he’s not around.
This shows that he’s confident with the security in the workplace, knowing no one will steal his prize. Or, he exudes confidence that no one will ridicule his use of this archaic iPod. But hey, who am I to talk? I still rock my old fat iPod Nano and Klondike!
The permutations of Oreo cookies are seemingly endless. The newest variation I’ve seen include red Winter and Candy Cane Oreos.

Back in March 2011, I was enthralled with the newly decorated Kamehameha Highway in the Pearl City area. Only this week, my obtuse power of observation noticed that all the decorations are gone. I don’t know when it exactly happened, but I kinda miss the garish display.
Is it me or does the latest Abercrombie & Fitch entryway billboard remind you of Twilight? Seems like I’ve seen Edward and Bella in a smilar pose in that field. In fact, doesn’t the female’s outfit remind you of Bella’s fashion in Forks?
Or maybe it’s just pure coincidence with the timing of the final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn Part 2. This won’t be a first time for one of these “coincidences.”

Enjoy one golden sponge cake each and every day of December leading up to Christmas. Who needs Christmas with a Twinkie a day? Wonder if these Twinkies advent calendars would sell on eBay?
I saw a white/albino frog at the pet store, and it absolutely grossed me out. No offense, but it just looked so odd and unnatural. In general, frogs gross me out anyways, but a white one gives me the heebie jeebies.
And so do misspellings.

Rummaging around at a grocery store, I came across Noh, Foods of Hawaii, spice packets. They feature flavors for Chinese, Japanese, Hawaiian, and other ethnic palettes.
But for their Filipino Adobo Mix, they showcase this image.
I don’t get it. Why do other spice packets show pictures of prepared foods while this one shows a Filipina?
The man behind Sesame Street’s Elmo has been cleared of any wrongdoing with an alleged underage relationship. Sadly, this entire ordeal has taken a toll on puppeteer Kevin Clash who has taken time off from Sesame Street.
So if you don’t see Elmo on episodes or Elmo’s voice or mannerisms seem a little different, you now know why.
