Pepperminty Kicks
Talking about coolness and ice, I saw these kicks the other day, and I had to snap some pics ninja-ishly.
These Nike Air Trainer I Premium Quickstrikes are definitely cool like peppermint.
Outfitted with Ice
Thanks to Griffin Technology for this cool new Outfit Ice case for the iPhone 4.
I entered their Ice Ice Baby contest and was randomly picked as a winner. Thanks Griffin Technology!

Manapua Man 1.0
Forget about the reincarnation of the lunch wagon throughout Oahu, forget about the specialty cuisine they serve, this is how it all started – with the Manapua Man.
And never mind that the prepared food is sitting out in the direct sunlight. Still good!

Kaneohe Christmas Parade Skoshi Kine
Found some pics from the annual Kaneohe Christmas Parade on my camera. Didn’t stay long so here’s just a skoshi amount of pictures.
The best highlight during my short stay was this car and its hydraulics.
Can You Dance the George Jefferson?
Are you moving on up to a deluxe apartment is the sky? Only if you stop doing the sprinkler, the cabbage patch, the lawnmower, or the Egyptian on the dance floor and bust out the George Jefferson.
Dwyane Wade channeled his inner Sherman Hemsley in this post dunk celebration.
Highlights from the Hawaii and Hawaii Pacific Basketball Game
So what if Division I UH took on Division II HPU’s basketball squad? Here are some highlights.
In-Zane Threes. To close out the first half Zane Johnson nailed three 3-pointers. Did you NBA Jam fans yell out, “He’s on fire!!” For the designated marksman on the team, Zane’s not quite automatic. Sure, he’s better than Hawaii’s recent long distance shooters, but he needs his feet set and shoulders squared up, otherwise, clang.
Bullying the Boys. You could see the difference between a Division I and II athlete. Joston Thomas was a bruiser, pushing out the Sea Warriors on his way to the rim. And Douglas Kurtz had 10 boards and several putbacks. Against D1 competition, Kurtz would have had like 4 boards.
The Next Big Man? Vander Joaquim is far from the next Hakeem Olajuwon, but there’s been definite improvement from the Warrior’s center. Vander had a solid dunk in the first half whereas previous UH centers would wind up for the jam but then be stripped of the ball.Later, instead of going with his only offensive move, his right hand jump hook, he reversed pivoted his man for an easy bucket. Good things could be in store.
The best highlight of this game has to be the new Supa Bowzooka from Farmers Hawaii. That thing is downright nasty. Not just for the expanses of Aloha Stadium, this bad boy was shelling fans in the Stan Sheriff Center. Check it out.
Despite all these highlights, there’s that one lowlight still afflicting the Stanley – the funky screens on the overhead scoreboard. Can one of the sponsors please help out with those screens?
