Club 939 Says Mahalo to our Troops
This weekend, Club 939 is recognizing the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice of our Armed Forces, freely welcoming them to the Club’s haven. From July 3 to July 5, all active military personnel showing valid military ID can enter the confines of 939 with no cover charge.
It’s 939’s own way of saying, “Mahalo to our troops!”

Club 939 is Now Super Large
Club 939 has always been large on the scene, kicking it as Hawaii’s hottest gentlemen’s club. Now Club 939 is literally super large with their new sign lighting up Keeaumoku. In fact, the sign is so large that driving and taking a picture of it was too dangerous, and this is all I could get (it’s the one in the top left corner).

New Club 939 Web Site
Not sure when this happened, but Club 939’s web site got an eye-catching overhaul. Gone is the site with basic info about Hawaii’s finest gentlemen’s club. Now, the site features upcoming events, pictures from previous events, and yes, even an online store for your very own 939 paraphernalia (and some of the stuff looks familiar).

Pearl City Girls Are Saucy
This is a stereotype purely based on circumstantial evidence, but wouldn’t you agree that Pearl City Girls are saucy?
The April 18, 2008 Weekend Edition of MidWeek featured model-turned-drift-racer Verena Mei. The 26-year old Pearl City grad is a top-ranked drifter in the US and is a model. Saucy!
Club 939 continues its advertisements featuring amusing profiles of the employees. Scorpio, Nikki, was recently highlighted as a Pearl City native, and lest you’ve forgotten, Nikki’s been a saucy mainstay of 939.
Not enough evidence for you? Then how about this 90’s Night Out adventure checking out Seduction, the Cover Girls, and C+C Music Factory, followed by an almost rendezvous at Club 939, but instead ending with Sex on the Beach? Now that’s damn saucy!
What Crystall of Club 939 Likes
I like the new Club 939 ads in the local Honolulu Advertiser and think they’re amusing. A series of ads is forthcoming, all patterned after personals describing likes and dislikes.
Here’s the first ad featuring Crystall who is a Libra and loves to laugh.
She also likes white iced mochas with whip cream. So of course, she’ll dislike a skinny mocha. You know what she probably dislikes? Being ripped off by Pepsi Points. You know what else? I’m not quite sure, but for some reason, I think Crystall likes iPhones. Hey, me too!
The Naughty Side of Sugar
Yes, the Sugar Bowl is forgettably over, and Pulpconnection’s Pour Some Sugar on Me giveaway is finished. When announcing the winners, I gave a look at the Nice prizes, but how about a look at the Naughty ones?
Naughty#1 prize is a 2008 calendar provided by Club 939 featuring twelve thirteen months of 939. And of course, this one is personalized!

What’s Up at Club 939?
Club 939 is gearing up for the Holidays and the New Year with some specials for you and other gentlemen. First up is honoring the talent of 939 by purchasing their upcoming 2008 calendar. You remember the talent of 2007? I’m sure the Tabasco Man does after winning a customized calendar. The Tabasco Man wanted to be rocked, and 939 didn’t disappoint. The 2008 calendar release and signing party is coming up on December 13.
One week later, the Club is back at it with a special guest star. Be sure to look for ads in the newspaper and visit on December 20.
In the New Year, Club 939 will unveil a revamped web site, offering up new goodies. Be on the lookout in January 2008 at club939.com.
Sadly, a LOST: Missing Pieces mobisode won’t be filmed at the club after all. Writers’ strike still going on, you know.
And oh yeah, anyone got skills designing a tee shirt? Along with the black or white tees, 939 wants some fresh designs for their fans. You know fresh? Then get your design in.

Video Sample on the iPod Nano 3G
So how does video look on the third generation iPod Nano’s little screen? Pretty darn good! I was pretty skeptical about watching videos on this thing and wanted the Nano more for its compatibility with the Nike+ Sports Kit, but the screen is definitely watchable.

Crazy Collaboration: Kicks HI and Club 939?
How would that be for a collaboration, kicks and clubbing at Hawaii’s adult hotspot? Hot kicks surrounded by hot dancers, hot music, and hot VIPs.
Would it be farfetched to have a kicks themed night at Club 939? I’m sure Kicks Hawaii can provide the goods to display and even outfit the 939 dancers with Kicks HI paraphernalia and maybe even kicks to wear. Think something along these lines. Wearing Nike Air Maxes has got to be better than strutting around in these.
Shoeheads who easily drop a benjamin on the latest sneaks would be attracted to all this beauty and can show off their mad kicks too. Wear a matching ensemble like this and get in for free! Maybe even CK, the online voice of Kicks HI can spin some tunes as a guest DJ.
