Sam von trapp, the grandson or great grandson, graduated with me in 1994, and is currently running the family inn somewhere in Vermont or nh. Never met him but heard he was a good guy.

I just recently found that out too. They are having a reunion and some sort of contest relating to memories of the movie.

This was the first movie I saw as a kid that wasn’t from Disney. My mum was rather strict.
