Such memories looking at these Apple computers over the years.
What have I owned? Let’s see if I remember…

- Power Mac 8500 (then upgraded with a G3 daughterboard processor)
- Power Mac G4
- Power Mac G5
- iMac Core 2 Extreme
and throw in a Newton MessagePad. 🙂
Snippet from Disney’s New World of Color
Here’s a short snippet of Disneyland’s new World of Color water show at California Adventure. Lights, lasers, water fountains, flames – epic!
Does Coke Give Disney Free Soda?
You would think Coke gives Disney free soda and drinks with stock on hand, free for the taking.
When Is It Okay to Hug Strangers and Go Nuts?

Upgrade to WordPress 3.0 Was Easy
Got around to upgrading Pulpconnection to the latest WordPress 3.0. Seriously easy. Prepping for the upgrade took longer than the actual upgrade.
Started by updating all my plug-ins (even the inactive ones). Then did a backup of my WordPress database files (I had a recent backup of my WordPress install file so I skipped that step).
Lastly, I used the automatic WP upgrade, and in a few seconds, it was done. WordPress 3.0 installed. So easy (thankfully).
Oh, and the Thesis theme is still rocking without any hiccups from the WP 3.0 upgrade. 🙂
Bunch o’Updates
After a time away, I find a bunch of updates to be done. Mac OS X 10.6.4, iTunes 9.2, Safari 5, iOS 4, Tweetie for the Mac 1.2.7, a ton of iApp updates, and WordPress 3.0 (along with plug-in updates).
The bunch o’Updates are still installing!
“Release the Kraken!â€
If not already in Urbandictionary.com, the phrase “release the Kraken!” from Clash of the Titans must be added. You shout this when someone poops in the pool and you need everyone to scatter and evacuate.
The Science of the World Cup Soccer Ball
The new soccer ball of the 2010 World Cup was created by Adidas with some serious science, technology, and engineering. Called the “Jabulani,” this ball is supposedly the “roundest and most accurate ball ever played.”

Read this Popular Science article about the technology built into the Jabulani. And if you want to marvel and celebrate this technology yourself, you can own your own Jabulani.
I Want to Smell Like Twilight!
Twilight’s Eclipse is soon, very soon, and there’s no better way to watch this movie than smelling like its namesake. What’s that scent of juicy berry, soft mimosa, apricot nectar, and warm woods? That’s you bathed in Bath and Body Works’ Twilight Woods!
While not an official Twilight product, you surely can’t deny the allusion to Stephenie Meyer’s creation. 😉
