Life Sized Gundam
If a Gundam mobile suit were for real, what would it look like? How about this?
This a full sized 59-ft replica of a Gundam suit constructed in Japan. Coolness, but how do you keep the birds from crapping all over it?

Watch Clay Shirky give his presentation on how Twitter can make history and how communications has been drastically changed forever.
So the new Calvin Klein billboard is causing a stir in New York, but is this gigantic Victoria’s Secrets poster any less racy?
This image facades the construction site of the new Victoria’s Secrets at Ala Moana. Anyways, this location is now hiring.
It was one month ago and the Disney Store at Ala Moana was under construction. Now, the new location is open for business.
It’s quite a bit smaller than the previous location taking over the former location of Sharper Image.
Another serious blast from the kicks past! The iconic And1 Tai Chi is making its return though I don’t like this planned colorway.
I loved my royal blue/sky blue combo with the multicolored laces. And if you forgot, these are the kicks that Half Man, Half Amazing Vince Carter wore when he went nutso at the 2000 NBA All Star Slam Dunk Contest. Oh yeah, the Bulldogs of Fresno State had these as their team shoe when Chris Herren was much loved and hated in the WAC.
Look at what Nike is releasing tomorrow, just in time for Father’s Day, the Air Trainer Legacy Pack! This two shoe collection features the Air Trainer and revolutionized Trainer 1. The box itself is killer.
Unfortunately, you need to order the Air Trainer Legacy Pack online at the nikestore.com.
I still remember when UH ballers AC Carter and Mike Robinson rocked these Air Max Total Uptempos. The Black/Volt colorways are being retroed.
Can I blame ginx.com for the sudden surge of bars and URL shortening services (shorites) popping up? Ginx.com was the first service I remember that offered both services, but now it seems others are following suit. Many services usually offer one or the other, but more are offering both.
There’s the Digg bar and now StumbleUpon is in the game with Su.pr. Who’s next?
Who knew Lakers Kobe Bryant was a local boy at heart?
Must be all those Lakers training sessions in Hawaii.
Thanks to @valdezign for the tip.
Did you see the new Calvin Klein jeans billboard in New York? Here it is in all its fleshed glory.
KGMB9 has a story and some opinions on this new racy ad. What you think? Too racy or okay?
Finally got around to watching the pilot episode of Glee, and it was entertaining! Kinda quirky with lots of high school stereotypes, but the music was great. Major props for covering Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’.
You can get the Glee cast version of Don’t Stop Believin’ on .
And speaking of Journey, I had to listen to vintage Journey songs after watching Glee. Then I started reading about Journey’s new lead singer from the Philippines, Arnel Pineda. What a story! This vocal replica of Steve Perry was discovered on YouTube and sounds awesome. Listen and watch this Journey concert at Chile, especially Only the Young at around the 6:00 mark. Without the video, I would have thought Steve Perry all the way. Wow.
And don’t forget to follow Glee on Twitter.
Read this short but interesting article about what Twitter is really about.
How Twitter compares with Facebook?
Facebook is for people you know, and Twitter is for people you don’t know and with whom you may share common interests.
How to user Twitter?
find someone you trust, who spends their time discovering and reporting on things you want to learn about and follow their every move. They effectively become a human RSS feed for tons of information you would never find out about otherwise.
Where Twitter fits in with information overload.
Twitter is another step in the process as we try to figure out how to deal with the complexity of so much input of information in our daily lives.
