After showing a clip of Push It, Glee has released yet another teaser from the upcoming season. This time, Mr. Schuester, goes Kanye with Gold Digger.
Behind the Scenes of "Gold Digger"!
Again, I’m hoping the series doesn’t spill all its greatness by jumping the shark with teasers before the series kicks off in September.
Amazon has two free behind the scenes clips from Glee to stoke the cinders of the inferno that will be Gleeful.
Watch the casting session to find people that can sing, dance, and act and hear from Brad Falchuk, co-creator and executive producer of Flee.
There was mention that the cast of Glee was going to do their version of the classic rap Push It. Here’s a sneak peek of what Cheer Coach, Sue Sylvester, calls “the most offensive thing I’ve seen in 20 years of teaching.”
Teaser from the Series Premiere airing WED 9/9 @ 9/8c, FOX!
Sorry, myspace.com access required to watch the vid. I’m hoping the series doesn’t jump the shark and can sustain the hilarity for the long haul (or at least make it to Hawaii for a hopeful taping). 😉
Taking a look at Bytemarks’ Top Social Media Geeks of Hawaii, you’ll see quite a few represented in the US Navy Distinguished Visitor embark program. This program allows citizens to come aboard Naval air craft carriers to experience a day at sea and then share their experiences with others. What better way to accomplish this goal by enlisting the aid of social media geeks!
Here’s the list of social media geeks with Navy DV participants in bold:

Not bad, 6 out of 20 (so far).
If you’re ever in Kailua, you should try out Nene Goose Bakery. They have great tasting pastries and treats (but do run out quickly).
Their mochi an pan is as close to their signature creation as can be. Though costly, you gotta try it at least once.
Kids love identifying and eating the choco animals.
Personally, I always get a chocolate donut if they haven’t run out. I swear these are the best on the island. To begin with, the donut itself is soft, and the quality of the chocolate is rich. And they don’t skimp on the chocolate coating. The chocolate is slathered on, thankfully overrunning the edges giving you more to enjoy.
Wasn’t expecting a stop by the cast of Glee to Hawaii’s Hot Topics, but I had to check. There is no Glee-k love for the 808 state.
That’s okay, but to make up for this oversight, how about filming episodes of Glee here? I’m sure Hawaii will make a great backdrop for the finals of a musical competition or something. Think about it, Glee producers. 😉
The gleeful call went out to all Glee-ks to attend the taping of the last episode of the inaugural season of the television series, Glee. Luckily, pulpy reader and contributor @jessicashig was invited to attend today’s taping, and here’s her story.
Warning. Minor spoilers ahead. More
Just playing with Blip.fm to see what it can do. This should be Alanis Morissette’s Giggling Again for No Reason.
Lookee, lookee, Honolulu Weekly has its annual readers’ poll asking for the Best of Honolulu. There are many subsections of the poll, but under the heading of “The Medium,” there are some pulpy topics like:
Hmmmm, I wonder how’d I vote for these? For Best Twitterer, I have three choices: @ryankanno, @neenz, and @hawaii (they all influence me according to Klout). But I think my nod would have to go to @neenz for the sheer volume of useful and aloha-spirited tweets she publishes.
Best use of social media would have to go to KGMB9 News. Within the past year, this news station blitzed the social media landscape getting workers to blog and now tweet. The recorded and streaming news broadcasts are cool, and of course, you can’t overlook their interactive News at 5, getting input from the Twitterverse.
Best local blog… Um, of course, I’d have to push pulpconnection.net. That’d be a no brainer, but if I can’t vote for my own work then I have to go with the aptly named Hawaii Weblog. Ryan Ozawa has been blogging the Aloha State and Beyond forever, and his coverage of Hawaii-based issues is always excellent.
What about you? How would you vote? Go ahead and make your choices.
For your ballot to be considered complete, you need to fill in at least 10 entries from the entire poll. All votes must be submitted by July 31, 2009.
And don’t forget to vote pulpconnection.net for best local blog. 😉
Dwyane Wade’s attempt to revitalize the Converse shoe brand is over. DWade is now a member of Team Jordan, wearing the Jumpman logo from now on.
So if you got some yet-to-be-released Wade 5 sneakers, you now have a collector’s item.
Does the shoe tongue say “Doubt Me”? Was Converse doubting DWade’s loyalty? Was DWade doubting Converse’s viability? What an appropriate way to end the DWade-Converse relationship.
The iconic Air Jordan 11 in the black and Varsity Royal blue “Space Jam” colorway is re-releasing in November.
So hard to resist…
