All I can say is “I’m not a robot without emotions, I’m not what you see.” I think I did manage to get every since error code on the site though.
Okay, this is NOT how you start the Holidays. When you get a reservation for an item, you, well, assume the item is available to you unless specifically declined. So when I received this notification from Nike, I was very well pleased.
A total surprise for sure since I’m not in Nike’s top tier of purchasers spending big bucks week after week. Still as a loyal, longtime fan of Nike and Jordan brand, it was satisfying to see this dedication rewarded. So I proceeded to make my purchase and saw this.
Key in the bottom of the screen that says “Out of Stock.” Out of stock? For an item reserved for me? What’s that about? Did everyone with a reservation buy before me and snatched up all the reserved pairs? That still didn’t make since since I had until 3pm (HST) to make my purchase.
After an online chat with Nike customer service, it seems the release of the AJ1 Rookie of the Year was premature or mistakenly sent to too many customers. So if you want to gift this interesting AJ1 colorway (themed after MJ’s outfit during the ROTY announcement), you have to try for them when they generally release.
Now of course, Nike can easily make up for this grinch-like faux paux by really reserving me a pair. 😉 Wink, wink Nike.

Now I would have expected something like this at Ala Moana where it seems mandatory that at least one set of escalators is broken. But alas, I guess some Windward guests were overly zealous with their exercise routines in the mall and caused this outage.

So Amazon announced a bevy of upcoming products featuring Alexa. While many of these make a compelling case for any household, I won’t lie by saying that I really want the Echo Wall Clock. Yup, it is what it sounds like. It’s an old school analog wall clock with the big hand and little hand to tell time. But is it really an analog device or just a digitial display made to look analog?
I know there’s a ring of LED lights around the clock face that indicates timers set by Alexa and that alone makes this $30 device useful. We’ve been looking for a wall clock for some time and haven’t found anything that we liked – too expensive, too small, too big, too gaudy, too plain.
The Amazon Echo Wall Clock is utilitarian in appearance, but it’s not ugly. And if it really just runs on batteries would make this a guarantee purchase. Unfortunately, it’s not available to buy or pre-order just yet.
Okay, not an eBay tip but a pet peeve. Just how are you supposed to answer questions asking if your items for sale are real or authentic? Um, yes… What kind of question is that? If fake, would I admit to that? And how am I supposed to determine the authenticity either? Yeah, I’ve been around the kicks game for awhile but I’ve never seen every shoe model.

While walking around Williams Sonama, I came across this Smeg toaster featuring visual designs by Dolce & Gabbana. Truly an eye catcher from the Sicily Is My Love collection, but then I saw the price tag of $650. $650 for a two-slice toaster!
Okay, okay, the slots are extra-wide, and at 12″x7″x7″, this appliance is big so that $650 is well justified. Although a WordPress blog theme based on the Sicily Is My Love collection would be kinda cool.
